 This month, StoryLTD brings you its Rare Books auction offering a large collection of rare and unusual books on a broad range of genres such as military history, art and architecture, travel, folk tales and stories, hunting, music, and cookery, as well as records from princely and colonial India. It features noteworthy resources for researchers such as 'A Survey of Persian Art: From Prehistoric Times to the Present', a set of 6 volumes authored by Arthur U Pope that serves as an authoritative survey on Persian art, as well as a bundle of 3 sets which comprise of exquisite catalogues of Islamic and Far Eastern manuscripts in The Chester Beatty Library. The sale also offers an assortment of brilliantly illustrated books which include engravings, prints, drawings, archival photographs, and caricatures. In addition, it features books on celebrated artists such as Rabindranath Tagore, Nicholas Roerich, M F Husain, F N Souza, Satish Gujral, and Sakti Burman, with numerous coloured plates of their works. The auction is a mix of Reserve and No Reserve lots.
