 This Tuesday, StoryLTD presents ‘Hindoostan Photographed’, a reserve auction of rare and historic photographic prints, albums and rare books from across the Indian subcontinent. The 69 lots in this auction include the works of pioneering figures in Indian photography such as Samuel Bourne, Lala Deen Dayal, William J Johnson, Willoughby Wallace Hooper, among others, and cover subjects as varied as ethnographic photographs, architectural views and portraiture.
