A naïve yet classic Luri carpet from the Zagros mountains region of southwest Persia. The brown field is dominated by a central diamond-shaped medallion with arrow-like extensions at the four corners. The field is filled with a plethora of iconography representing trees, flowers and abstract animal shapes. A beautiful scrolling vine border frames the field.
