Rare Photograph Album of India (27 photographs - 17 of Bombay and 1 of Poona and Khandalla each)

Album titled India of Circa 1870s with twenty-seven albumen prints mounted on card and captioned in ink on 15 mounts in the same unknown hand, including photographs of Bombay (17), Poona (1), Khandalla (1), Delhi (1), Lucknow (2), Benaras (1), Agra (1). One per page on 23 pages and one per page on 2 pages and mounted back-to-back. Sizes of each photograph vary between 7.25 x 10.25 in (18.5 x 26 cm) and 8.25 x 10.5 in (20.7 x 26.7 cm). Mount size: 10 x 12.75 in (25.2 x 32 cm). Album size: 10.5 x 13.5 in (26.3 x 34 cm). Dark green cloth bound with gold tooling to the title “INDIA” at the spine.
