A handsome South Persian carpet, possibly woven by a Bakhtiari artisan. The brown field is overlaid with three columns of an abstract tree of life motif, further supplemented with a wide ivory border which is also decorated with a different tree of life motif. The outer border frames the carpet with a minimal mountain peak composition.
