A beautiful soft carpet from Southwest Persia, possibly woven by a lady from the Luri tribe. The deep indigo blue field is completely filled with small paisley ‘boteh’ arranged in a diagonal formation. Three narrow borders frame the central panel, where the two outer and inner borders are filled with colourful barber poles and the central border is stacked with floral forms.
