A beautifully coloured Caucasian carpet from the Gendje region. The central panel is composed with multiple diagonally placed bands, each of which is filled with a range of bright colours and adorned with paisley botehs. The field is framed with a wide major border containing abstract octagon-shaped flowers, surrounded by two minor borders containing flowers and a scrolling vine.
