A South-West Persian carpet showing a nomadic tribal weaver’s interpretation of the classical Persian ‘garden carpet’ composition. The design shows five vertical rows representing flower beds full of various floral motifs. A number of narrow borders surround the garden, some represent water channels while the others contain a variety of floral motifs.
