A beautiful Caucasian Talish carpet, probably the product of a semi settled weaving tribe working in a village workshop setting. The elegant golden yellow central panel is filled with repeating rosettes. The wide major border is decorated with zoomorphic diagonals. The inner narrow minor border is adorned with a geometric scrolling vine and the outer minor border has a minimal barberpole composition.
