A Caucasian Bordjalou Kazak carpet showing three stacked diamonds on the central vertical axis. The diamonds are outlined with birdhead iconography. The entire open space on the red field is covered with numerous floral, zoomorphic and talismanic icons.The major border is adorned with large scale leaf and calyx icons and the two minor borders contain interfacing pairs of serpents or dragonheads.
