A North Persian long carpet, probably woven by a Shahsavan artisan. The composition contains six stepped crosses contained in hexagons neatly stacked along the central vertical axis. The entire carpet is
filled with numerous talismanic icons. The composition is enclosed within two narrow borders, one with a colorful barber pole design and the other with reciprocal mountain peaks.
