A Caucasian Talish carpet containing a rare elegant red central panel dotted completely with stars. A set of five borders frames the rectangular panel, where the dominant border comprises a chainlink scrolling vine, three borders are filled with rosettes, and the outermost border has a clever reciprocal sawtooth design.
