A Southeast Persian carpet woven by an artisan from the Afshar tribe. The dominant part of the composition is a tree growing out of the bottom centre, flanked by two smaller tries on either side. The tree contains various flowers in bloom. A magnificent border showing a complex set of intertwined elements in a scrolling vine surrounds the
central tree panel. Two minor borders with smaller scrolling vines complete the composition.
