A South Persian carpet, probably woven by a Qashqai artisan. The composition shows a vertical axis of four connected diamond pools with outward-pointing arrows at the top and bottom ends of the axis.
Of particular note are seventeen human figures woven on the rug, each appearing to be carrying a beach ball-shaped rosette.
