A beautiful Caucasian Kazak carpet, containing a ladder grid row of six octagons in the central vertical axis. Each octagon contains a large crab icon. Of particular note is the beautiful system of six borders surrounding the central panel. The major border contains an oversized leaf and calyx set of icons. The minor borders contain scrolling vines and stylized icons.
