In an attempt to give the art of Picchwai a new life, Anita commissioned master artisan Lekhraj ji 'Serendipity' a hand painted range of clutches, depicting beautiful jharokhas, jaalis and the glorious flowers from the traditional Picchwai repertoire.

CONDITION
The lot is in good condition with sporadic mild signs of handling and faint stains on the interior lining of the clutch

Renowned designer Anita Dongre’s designs display a fondness for heritage craft traditions such as indigo dyeing, gota patti and zari work. She works closely with rural women artisans to revive the dying crafts of India and offering craftspeople the opportunity to earn dignified livelihoods.
