These works are from an Exhibition, Sanjhi Revisited, which was specially created in 2017 to mark the golden jubilee of Delhi Crafts Council. Sanjhi is the traditional art of making floor patterns or rangoli, using coloured powder to make designs with the help of hand cut paper stencils. This art is practiced mainly in Mathura in Uttar Pradesh. The exhibition was based entirely on new artworks based on the theme of architecture and architectural decorations. In The Shade Of The Weeping Willow by Mohan Verma is a creative interpretation based on designs from Bagh - e- Bahar, a book brought out by Good Earth Pvt LTD.
