Set of four bangles with the largest measuring 3.4 in (8.8 cm) (diameter) and smallest measuring 2.55 in (6.5 cm) (diameter)
Four bangles made from brass and copper alloys using the lost wax cast technique. Worn as a bangle or armlet by a Shaivite ascetic. Represented around the periphery of each bangle are traditional symbols associated with Shiva, including the serpent (naga), lingam, bull (nandi), trident (trishula). Other motifs may relate to symbols associated with Parvati, Ganesha and Kartikeya.
