A fine and rare pair of painted figures of Krishna as Venugopala and Radha. The figure of Krishna with the flute is crowned and garlanded; his left leg carrying the weight of his body, while the right one crosses the other as if performing a dance step. Radha too stands in a similar pose with a floral garland and holding a lotus bud in her right hand. Both figures stand on stepped bases.
