Large devotion of the book is about the Parsis, which is in the second part of the book. This book is probably the first account of the Parsis by the Europeans.
Henry Lord was Chaplain to the East India Company in Surat, Gujarat from 1624-1629. During this
time, he made a detailed study of the local people and of Hindu and Parsi Cosmology.
