Once I was...

With the seas swelling, and skies being moody, we had to sooth the seething Earth.

We designed to treat trash, to bend beauty.

We, at RVDS were consumed by the cacophony of the consumption cycle, and wanted to mend.br.the way, even in our design practice. In the process to create a-new out of what would have
gone into the waste pile, we repurposed the waste from our studio practice, and given new lives
to the rubble, refashioning into design objects and works of art. We wanted to complete the
consumption cycle and consume even the crumbs.

These works speak new stories, but with familiar, poetic vocabulary. These works recite in our
language, and take forward our gene of aesthetic, are a new beautiful. Traversing between a
work of art and design, _Once I was... _ reborn from the dust of winter, into a new spring,
blossoms into a new dawn.
