`Iss safar mein neend aisi kho gayi,
Hum na soye raat thak kar so gayi`
(We have lost so much sleep along this journey that the night has closed its eyes
in tiredness as we remain awake)

It`s a misnomer to call things we hoard and lock away `precious`. Precious is what we use everyday. That
we take freely without exaggerated thought or concern. We confuse the price of things with their value.
And never more so than with the earth we take for granted. Who can put a price on a sunrise? A field of
rose bushes? A nightingale that sings unselfconsciously? The earth is the only paradise we know. The
wind, the waves, the trees are these everyday things that sustain our life.
And yet, Nature lies at our restless feet; a discarded ornament.
