Handspun wool and pure silk


This rug takes inspiration from the Italian, and more specifically Roman mosaic flooring found in important historical buildings. It combines the element of the mosaic 'tesserae' with Cocoon's signature abstract designs. The coming together of these two elements gives stunning depth. The rug is made using fine handspun wool, with pure silk accents. This rug is made in rural Rajasthan and took three master weavers almost four months to make.
