One of our favorite places to visit is the Plaster Courts at the Victoria and Albert Museum, that showcase plaster reproductions ' or copies ' of outstanding national monuments and notable sculptures across Europe. We are also deeply inspired by sculptures like Giacometti that have created beautiful pieces of lighting using plaster. The ethereal and peaceful quality of white was something we wanted to recreate but chose instead to work with marble that could be more durable. An Indian marble was chosen for its subtle veins and brilliant reflection. For our first piece, the Makrana Console we have chosen to incorporate architectural pillars that are sculptural and evocative in their form.
