With this blacks and whites he is able to retain the architectural value, the stories and gives the audience a chance to reconnect those memoirs and emotions, which might have been lost in colours.
The uniqueness of this series is - everyone can recollect their piece of memory from their Indian Holidays. These memories accumulate right from the childhood vacations, family tours to adventure trips. Although the emotions for a particular place may vary from religious to adventurous, spiritual to architectural and from educational to outings for each person, depending on one's perception. But, what is important is what you observe, feel and take back from these places if it were a part of your Indian Holidays ?
This collection has 16 powerful black and white paintings on paper of dimensions 29 in x 48 in. This series covers places like Qila Mubarak in Patiala, Parsi Bunglow in Udavada, Gujarat, the ghats of Varanasi, Villagescape of Haryana, Jaggannathpuri in Orissa and many more.
At the age of 83, this series by Natu Mistry promises to be one of his best.
